Final Images + 2 Concepts

Concept 1 (Carlo Scarpa): Landscape Synthesised with Architecture
Renowned for his unmatched attention to detail, Carlo Scarpa often crafted works which built upon pre-existing forms - including both natural landscape and built environments - whereby Scarpa artfully arranged his designs to create a sense of serenity and unity with such pre-existing forms.

Concept 2 (Olson Kundig): Ascension of the Ground Plane
Olson Kundig's fundamental design principle revolves around the notion of architecture serving as a bridge between nature, culture and people.

Electroliquid Aggregation: Synthesis of landscape with architecture through the ascension of the ground plane
With the above concepts in mind, I aimed to create a piece of architecture which integrated well with the UNSW site whilst maintaining a preservation of the original landscape.
